This is part of the "Hand In Hand" ministry where our members partner with staff from James W. Smith to pray for them during the school year and offer support and encouragement. We are beginning our 3rd year of this ministry.

held June 11th at James W. Smith.
It was a great success.
We served bagels, cream cheese, sausage breakfast casserole, french toast casserole, applesauce, orange juice and coffee to 71 staff members.
All 71 staff members were able to pick something from the gift table.
"Back to School" lunch
for the staff at James W. Smith on Monday, August 24th a great success.
We arrived around 3:00 p.m. to set up & serve.
You can see from the photos, there was a good variety of food to choose from.
We served chicken salad & pimento cheese sandwiches, fresh veggies with dip,
various chips, brownies, oatmeal cookies, coconut pecan cookies & snickers.
Ice cold beverages were Crystal Lite Lemonade and Diet Coke.
We finished serving & packing up and left school around 5:15 p.m.
This event was to sign up participants for the 2009-2010 school year Hand In Hand project
which partners each staff member with a prayer partner at Beech Grove Church.
We have 56 registered to participate and more will get their papers in within the week.
